Knecht Creative is a Seattle-based duo. Amber specializes in live music, event, and corporate photography while Luke is a videographer and sound mixer.
Who We Are, What We Do
Knecht Creative is a two-person photo and video team rooted in the music world and built for everything that moves fast - live shows, creative launches, branded moments, and the beautiful chaos in between. We're not just wallflowers taking up space. We're in the mix, moving like water amidst the action.
Since 2012, we've worked stages, streets, studios, and suites - capturing the unfiltered energy of a performance, the intimacy of a portrait, and the texture of culture as it's being made. Our backgrounds run deep with KEXP, and our approach is grounded, human, and present.
We show up like part of the crew - low-maintenance, high-output - and know how to read a room. Whether you're planning a launch, throwing a festival, or building a brand from scratch, we bring calm in the storm and the eye for what actually matters.
This isn't machine-churned content or stiff campaign work. It's human-made, story-driven documentation. Done with trust, style, and grit.

I’ve been photographing live music, and musicians, and working with publications for over a decade. My personal favorite is natural, found light. I’m available to photograph your event, hop into your office, or help build your brand.
